Generative Crochet

As part of my Master's in Fine Arts degree, I researched how crochet forms could be used in product design. In addition to using rapid fabrication methods to manipulate crochet forms and create conceptual objects, I also developed a random crochet pattern generator.

 

It has since grown into an artistic exploration of my favorite way of making.
